If I was prime minister for the week I would get to work straight away. First I would try to ensure that every country had a number of pshychologists and mental health works which could go round schools and have one to one sessions with pupils and could give advice to peer mentors, teachers, ect. I would also try to provide free transport to under 16’s and under 25’s in full time education as it is very expencive to get around and like OAPs we don’t have jobs and even if we do we don’t make much.
I would also stop hoilday companies charging extra for holidays in school hoildays as they are expensive at the best of times and it is wrong to charge more. After all school is important but so are hoildays and there for should be cheap and avalible at the right times.
Also I would make education free for everyone of all ages so that those who want to turn there lives around have a good chance to do so.
If the prime minister had to be me for a week he would have to work hard. First he would have to go to school on a bus with an “asmatic” bus driver who smokes far to much yet will yell at anyone who sprays deodrant or perfume on the bus. Then he would have to A-level lessons, which are no walk in the the park.
He would have to be in a school where certain pupils know they wil not be punnished for bullying or abuse. He could tell the teachers but they would just tell him to stay away from them and that there was nothing they could do.
I don’t think he would enjoy it.
