Website team training day in Leeds

On Saturday 22nd September the Get ready for change! website and communication team met in Leeds for a Radiowaves training day. This was a great chance to catch up, meet new members of the team, and make plans for the next part of the project.

The main focus of the day was meeting the Radiowaves team and setting up a Get ready for change! internet radio station! This is so children and young people all over the country can find out about the project and get involved. The website team developed the Get ready for change! page, practiced interviewing each other and then added their own podcasts (with music!) to the site.

Radiowaves helps young people to have their say about important issues on the internet. It trains young reporters to make podcasts about local and national issues that they want to shout about.

Over the next few months members of the website team will be adding loads more podcasts, so log on and listen to what they have to say!
