Government wants YOUR views on how the media affects YOU!

The Government is calling for children and young people to give their views on how the media (which can include magazines, television, radio and internet) might affect the lives of children and young people. They are particularly interested in finding out how children and young people interpret messages given in advertisements and how this might positively and negatively influence how children and young people shop, and what they buy, and how they feel about themselves. Some people might think that having advertisements aimed at children may not always be a good thing. But what do you think? What effect do you think the media has on how you behave, what you believe, and what kind of person you become?

This is a great opportunity for you to say what you think and make a difference to Government policy. You can submit your views by visiting the website:

You have to do so before 30th June so you need to get writing!!!!!
