CRAE launches new legal service
- Have you ever been stopped by the police and wondered why?
- Do you need more information about your rights at school?
- Do you have a say in seeing a parent who doesn’t live with you?
- Do you have trouble using services because of a disability?
- Are you being bullied because of your race?
These are just some of the questions You’ve got the Right can help you with. It’s CRAE’s new confidential advice service for children on human rights and equality law in England.
We have legal experience to help you solve your problem. We can advise you over the phone or by e-mail about the law, your human rights, and what to do if you’re being treated unfairly. We can put you in touch with other services that can help.
Call freephone 0800 32 88 759 or e-mail
Textphone users should dial 18001 first. If you are using a mobile phone, standard charges will apply.
Lines are open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm
This service is for anyone under 18 but we can also advise adults calling on behalf of children. All enquiries are confidential.
You’ve got the Right is a Children’s Rights Alliance for England service, funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
