Children’s Commissioner renamed 11 million

On May 16th 2007, Professor Sir Al Aynsley-Green launched the Children’s Commissioner for England’s new image and five-year plan to promote the views and interests of England’s 11 million children and young people. There were over 150 people at the event, including Beverley Hughes, the Minister for Children, Young People and Families.

Two members of the Get ready for change! steering group, Kalika and Eni, were at the event to talk about the project and answer questions from the audience. They met Beverley Hughes and Sir Al, and made sure they knew all about the Get ready for change! project.
