One of the things you’ll need to know when you’re campaigning for children’s human rights is who’s got the power.

We must all respect the human rights of others, but the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child says governments must work especially hard to promote and protect children’s human rights. In England, the Government and Parliament make laws and policy, and decide how the country is run.
