Pre Geneva Meeting
Hi everybody,
On the 26th – 27th April the 12 young people on the Delegation team met each other and the GR4G staff team, at a residential in Leicester.
At the residential we all got to know each other better, learn about the aim of the GR4G project, learn loads about childrens rights, learn about the investigation process and the findings, understand the report which the Drafting comittee have wrote, we all got our jobs on the delegation and we learnt lots of top tips for interviews, writting press releases and public speaking…
It wasn’t just work! lolz we had so much fun! we played loads of games, customised our GR4G t-shirts (they look so cool!), we did lots of role plays, did a mini quiz with animal sound buzz, which was so funny! lolz there was a cat, (which i kinda took over after the game! – cat by name cat by nature! meow!!) erm, there was a elephant and a frog there was also a fairy wand which was sweet! lolz
On the Saturday night, there was Geneva mini cinema with several films on, in the main room, which was great, also there was free time for everyone to socialise and for a few this was a good chance to get more revision done!,
i can’t wait until Geneva its going to be so much fun! lolz
Best Wishes
