Drafting Committee

Hi everybody!

On Saturday it was the drafting committee meeting in London, to make any changes to the “draft report” and add new sections also to agree on how we would like it to look and all the recomenadtions we have for the UN.

The meeting was really good!
We saw 3 very different design options, with a very split vote about which is the best, personally i liked the plain and simply one (and I was the only one to like it!!), but i think the one choosen will look great, its got a good theme and different bits from all 3 designs are being put into it so it will be perfect! smile smile

Also, the recommendations which everyone came up with sounded great! I hope the UN listens to them and makes our government implent these changes!

The project is offically a year old now, i can’t believe how far its come in the past year.

I can remeber attending my first ever I&I and thinking the project sounds good but i never thought i would be part of it, and if im honest i wasn’t certain that the project would work becasue it seemed so ambitious, but now look!

The CRAE team have worked so hard to make this work, get so many children and young people involved and the team are getting ready to go to the UN in Geneva with some of the young people involved.

I admire the team so much! Their passion, determination and dedication to the project and Children’s Rights, is so inspirational smile wink

Keep up all the great work everybody!
