Drafting Committee!

Hi everybody!

On Saturday afternoon to Sunday last week, it was the drafting commiittee meeting, there were about 12 young people with Carla and Sam.

The drafting committee have the job of writting up all the evidence from the project, the report will be written up in draft version first then it will be edited and a final draft produced which will be sent to the UN in Geneva,

The event was really good, it started on the saturday night with agreeing the role of the committee, and coming up with a basic idea of what we would like the report to contain and look like overall, this was done really well we also got to play loads of games before then going out for dinner at a local Italian resturant, which was lovely.

After a good nights sleep, we were all up and ready for the day a head, we started work on writting the actuall report! We all either chose to carry on with the sections we started on Saturday or join another topic area, which is what i did, i decided to join “health and Saftey” because remebering the questinos from that survey it is a topic i am very passionate about (especially for young people!).

During the day we had loads of support with writting the report, from Carla and Sam, which was great, they made so much fun!

As the day came to a end we all decided on what areas of the report we wanted to work on, and anything else we had pin pointed while we were taking part this weekend!

I can’t believe how far the project has come in just under 1 year! lol look to the future where will the project be in another years time
