CRAE AGM.

The CRAE AGM 2007…. Once we had all settled in to the hotel, the night before the agm, everybody went into their two groups, to finish/edit notes for the agm presentation. In Equality for children and young people too campaign group there was Carla, Scott, Liam, Rachael, Emma and me. After we finished working on the presentation with Carla, we went to our rooms, to sleep and make any last minute personal changes to your speech… On Tuesday, We got up early, about 6am ish, to be ready to leave at 8am… when we arrived at the venue in West London most of the CRAE team were already there. In the morning we worked with Carla to get our presentations finished, with all of us trying to write speeches and stuff. Then it came to our presentation, it went really well, everybody was great!- well done  After the presentation we had some questions which everybody responded to, giving detailed, opinions and answers. After we had finished we went into little discussion groups, I really enjoyed this because I got to meet lots of different people and listen to what other people had to say on a wide variety of questions. As the AGM finished people started to head home, there were lots of people saying how surprised they were at our findings and views about age discrimination, also they were impressed with how wonderfully the group presented. Also I stood as a candiate to become one of the young CRAE Trustee members and was successful. smile YAY – goes hypa! lol smile
