Childrens Rights come to town…..

Yesterday saw 20 more young people, in Scarborough given the knowledge! The training proved by Krishna from the Childrens Rights Allliance, covered the UN Convention on rights of a child, communicating and devolping campaignis.

Everyone involved really enjoyed the day, and had a chance to work with different people.

From the campaigns people devolped (their pants!) some real issues affecting the young people of Scarborough and the local area were highlighted.

The day ended by pitching there campaign back to the group, explaining the name of the project (ranging from Notice the Difference to The Seaside Crewage!) , presenting a logo, describing the aims and objectives of the campaign and finnally the teams were hit with some pretty hard hitting questions, each one answered so expertly.

From the presentions it was very clear what the young people of Scarborough need and some young people expressed in an interest in devolping their campaign in real life and took advantage of the free campaiging pack.

So watch out, Scarboroughs in for a change!
