Education: every child’s right - the campaign so far

In February, the campaign team met to agree on the focus for the campaign and talk about what they want to acheive over the coming year. The campaigners decided they would like to carry out small focus groups with refugee and asylum seeking children to find out more about their experiences of education.

They also had the chance to talk to a member of staff from 11 MILLION (the Children’s Commissioner for England) about the experiences of children who are locked up in immigration removal centres.

Since the February meeting the young campaigners have been working on their campaign logo and thinking about what questions they want to to ask in their focus groups.
