Nathan

Nathan The reason I wanted to get involved with the project is because I have done some campaigning for disabled children and their rights, and I thought it would be good to diversify and find out about other children's rights.

Parit

Parit I wanted to join the web and communications team because I like using the internet and playing games. I like reading newspapers, especially the sports sections and reading about human rights. As a member of my school council, I speak up for children – on issues that affect the pupils in my school.

Rakhee

Rakhee I got involved in Get ready for Geneva because I’m interested in websites, art, writing articles for organisations and for young people and designing newsletters. I feel that young people should have a say in issues, which affect them, and I hope that the Geneva project will help me do that.

Richard

{author}'s avatar I'm trying to publicise 'Get Ready for Geneva', in my school, now that my exams are over. The postcards are quite good at this, but because their small there not very effective at informing large numbers of people. I think posters would combat this issue and also raise more interest in the project. So if you could possibly create some posters for Children's Champions to put up in our schools, I feel the interest in the project will definitely increase. Another good aid, if its possible, would be badges as they will immediately catch the attention of people when they see us walking around our schools (and in class)!

Rick

Rick I joined the Get ready for Geneva project as I thought it was a great way to get my views about what involves me heard on a higher level, I’ve also found that it is a great way to meet new people and make some fantastic new friends.

rose

{author}'s avatar I’ve got involved with Get ready for Geneva because, already being a member of the National Children's Bureau, I want to be able to spread the word about children's rights and become more involved in actively participating in and promoting attention for this important subject.

Sarah

Sarah I thought it was a really great opportunity for me to help other children and make the government more aware. I was really inspired. I did not know whether children’s rights were respected or not. I thought children’s rights were more important, and that’s why I got involved.

Sehreen

Sehreen I’ve been involved in CRAE for over a year and met some great people. This project seemed like a great opportunity to make more friends, whilst learning more abut children’s rights and teaching others about it too.

Stas

{author}'s avatar I got involved because i thought that it was unfair that any child should be discrinated or have their rights taken away from them and i wanted to do something about it.
